We aim to give every client a high standard of service. If you are unhappy with any part of our work, please let us know so we can try to put it right.
How to complain
Please contact Inty Ahmed, Director:
- by email: hello@taxlab.co.uk
- by post: Taxlab, 95 South Bridge Street, Bathgate, West Lothian, EH48 1TJ
- by telephone: 0845 862 6009
It helps if you tell us what went wrong, when it happened and what you would like us to do. You can complain in writing or by telephone, and you can ask someone else to complain on your behalf.
What we will do
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.
- We will look into your complaint promptly and fairly. Where possible, it will be reviewed by someone who was not directly involved in the matter.
- We aim to give you a full written response within 4 weeks. If we need longer, we will explain why and keep you updated.
- If we find that we have made a mistake, we will tell you how we will put it right.
Making a complaint will not affect the way we treat you.
If you are still not satisfied
If you are not satisfied with our response, or we have not resolved your complaint within four weeks, you can refer it to our professional body, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA):
- online: Making a complaint about an ACCA member
- by email: complaintassessment@accaglobal.com
- by post: ACCA, Regulation and Conduct Department, The Adelphi, 1/11 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6AU
ACCA considers whether a member’s conduct has met its professional standards. It does not award compensation and cannot decide fee disputes, which are matters for the courts, although it may try to help both sides reach agreement.
Complaints about personal data
If your complaint is about how we have used your personal data, please see section 10 of our privacy notice. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
